Located in a restored 18th-century courthouse London's newest foodie addition is called Sessions Art Club, a 60-seater restaurant and bar opening on Clerkenwell Green on 11 August.
Headed by Polpetto alumna Florence Knight as head chef (we always love the idea of a kick ass female chef), designing a menu that celebrates “simplicity, flavour and texture” inspired by the “worn arches, faded gold cornice, and jade walls” of the building was her aim.

“My cooking focuses on the best quality produce that is prepared simply and with the greatest of respect for the ingredient,” Knight emphasises. “Nothing is overdone or fussy.
